Senior Portraits at Sunrise – Part II

I had an awesome senior portrait session last Saturday at Columbia Park. What made it really cool was that we shot at sunrise! Did you see the first set of images I posted? Make sure to check them out, if you haven’t yet. It was a great time, and the images are fantastic! Here are a few of my favorites for you to enjoy.

When the light got harsh, we started shooting among the trees. I love these!

This was just such a cool looking building.

…so I decided to give it a cool cross-processed look. Doesn’t he just look awesome?!

I had an awesome time at Columbia Park on Saturday with a great senior! We met right at sunrise, and the light was fantastic! Here are just a few of my favorites for you to enjoy.

Emilee’s Senior Portraits – Part II

This was such a fun session! We had a gorgeous day, and this location is fast becoming one of my favorite places to do a photo session – there are so many unique places to shoot! Emilee has been studying some modeling in preparation for this, and it shows! We made so many wonderful images – I’m only sharing a few of my favorites with you. Enjoy them, and make sure to enjoy the slideshow!

We started out behind the library. We had such fun trying out different poses in this window!

We moved out to the demonstration gardens near the library. What a beautiful place!

I tried experimenting with some sun flare. Both Emilee’s family and I love the results!

“Do you want to jump?” I asked.

“Oh, yeah!”

Emilee’s Senior Portraits – A Teaser

I created some wonderful family portraits for Emilee’s family all the way back in April of 2006 – you can see one here, there is one among the images cycling on my website, and if you scroll up to the top of this blog, you’ll see another in that cycling set of images. I had such a great time making those images, and the family absolutely loved them, so I was thrilled recently to have the chance to create Emilee’s senior portraits!

On Saturday we headed out to the Demonstration Gardens near the Kennewick Library, and just had a blast! Here are a bunch of my initial favorites – I haven’t had a chance to go through all of the great images yet! I’ll have more to share with you once Emilee and her family get to see them all first. Enjoy!

Slideshows!

I’ve just added the ability to show slideshows on my website for you to enjoy! Having just switched to Daylight Savings Time, and with the weather becoming increasingly warmer, with the first slideshow I figured I’d whet your appetite for days spent in the sun and for some great outdoor portraiture!

Kelli, a friend, her mom, and I spent some time creating fantastic images in Columbia Park last September. Enjoy her slideshow!
