Overheard/Overseen
I’m starting a new feature! I’ll be sharing links to blog posts that I’ve enjoyed recently that feature good reads and good images. Happy browsing!
Zack Arias has been doing some cool stuff. Here’s how he did it. I’ve got an old twin lens reflex lying around – this would be fun to try!
Bob Hyatt has some good thoughts on homelessness and on the hard parts of life.
I really admire the work of wedding photographers Nate and Jaclyn Kaiser of The Image is Found. They’ve put up some irresistible images of their kids recently – here, here, and here.
Jeff Ascough – a UK wedding photographer whose work I really admire – shares his philosophy on shooting weddings, along with a few quotes from renowned documentary photographers Elliott Erwitt and Henri Cartier-Bresson. Bresson, by the way, was perhaps the most famous practitioner of street photography (and certainly one of the best).
